Activity
This week students are going to be learning about taxes and high stakes testing. Besides the regular lectures students are going to read four articles and engage in class/group discussions and Q&A. Towards the end of the week they will be shown a demonstration that shows that the same groups of people that are at disadvantage in high stakes testing are usually at a disadvantage in tax regulations. After the demonstrations, students are going to write an essay to show what they have learned from the readings, lectures and discussions. Also, they will reflect on their ideas/thoughts.
